Scott Yellan, Principal, Business Development

Scott Yellan has been engaged in the direction of hospitality and student housing operations for over twenty years. With a special focus on applied production and integration of information technology, Scott’s background in delivering network connectivity to end-users of the highest demand calibre has been a key success focal point.

As a developer, operator and stakeholder of a completely unique Branded Hotel & Student Residence Hybrid business, Scott is all about handling complexities.  The creator of a completely flexible inventory model, Scott's unique version of mixed asset use took a 340+ Room, Full Service Hotel and injected a fully featured Premium Student Residence platform within.  Altering inventory blend based on market conditions & seasonality, the asset was able to outperform both its hotel class and student residence competitors for well over a decade.  This urban-center asset which accommodated over 400 students during specific hotel market downtrends, achieved valuation levels well beyond competitors.

Moderating general management under the brands of Starwood, Best Western and Wyndham, Scott has always maintained a strong direction over property management systems and integration of audio-visual complements. With an out-of-the-box type approach, Scott and his partners have been able to deliver on IT / AV projects that range in scope from ultra budget conscious up to the highest-end of premium smart-automation custom builds.

A 1996 Wilfrid Laurier University graduate, Scott resides in Oakville with his wife and four young children. Oakville is also home to several custom estate home builds that Scott has overseen that boast smart-automation featuring integration of premium level infrastructure & design, such as, Control4 and ZeeVee cable modulation distribution.

From large scope build and retro project management to financial modeling, Steve is a brand-award winning Director.  Add a strong background in systems, administration and general management; Steve is our On-the-Ground Get-it-Done Master.

Carlos Pereira, Director, IT & Business Services

Carlos Pereira brings a fresh and multifaceted IT perspective to the business world. With over fifteen years of experience in the IT Field, he has delivered cutting edge solutions in industries such as Hospitality, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Services.

A graduate of Ryerson University’s cutting edge Bachelor of Commerce in Business Technology Management program, specializing in High Performance Networks and Systems Integration, Carlos has developed the custom solutions for Tiered Internet access currently in use at the Best Western Primrose Hotel, collaborated in the development of the Supply Chain Management solution used by Hewlett-Packard in their Imaging and Printing Operations division, as well as developed Diagnostic Imaging processing solutions for Healthcare Providers.

Carlos' goal is to become a part of your business by understanding what you want to do and then show you how technology can be harnessed to help you get there. He puts his heart into delivering a remarkable service experience and is always looking to empower you through technology.

Najeeb Khan, Multimedia Engineer, Spectre Audio

Najeeb Khan has over twenty years experience in developing custom multimedia solutions, building automation, and networks. A highly regarded Speaker Designer, Najeeb had designed over 80 models of speakers for Paradigm Electronics before starting his own business - Spectre Audio.

Najeeb holds a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Spectre Audio is one of Canada’s earliest and most established Control4 integrators, with nearly all of its business originating from referrals. Najeeb Started Spectre Audio to do things differently from the norm, delivering intuitive engineered systems that work reliably and seamlessly. Spectre Audio, through Najeeb and his detailed-oriented crew, is respected for its knowledge and integrity by suppliers, peers and customers.

Jasi is a true multi-tasker trained in the art of converting chaos into resolved complexities.  An administration guru, Jasi is well versed in the processes of Hotel, Student Residence & Hybrid operations.  As a Business & Marketing graduate, Jasi provides global sales and leasing support.  Her previous hospitality roles have led to a strong background in branded Hotel consistency service programs, and, customer services administration.    

With years' of Student Residence Life operational experience, Jasi is a strong leader of policy administration, and, oversight of Residence Assistants.  RA Training, social community building & health and safety initiatives are strong knowledge base areas.

Skilled in transactional based administration, Jasi is a serious asset towards financial & budget analysis.

As a seasoned Sales Relations Engineer, Joseph's mantra of Sales & Marketing is to outperform yesterday; outperform the competition; outperform yourself.  Experienced in equal-parts Luxury Branded Hotel, and, Premium Student Housing, Joseph formula to orchestrating a Sales & Marketing platform is to mesh the best of both worlds.  Credited with over fifteen years, thousands of sold beds, and, mountains of leased hospitality function space, Joseph has a remarkable market reputation.  Identifying business partnerships that turbo-charge sales is one-of Joseph's key techniques.  As a leader, his high-energy style inspires his team.

Wait there's more ... Joseph is also one of our Technology Geeks!  Joseph's on-line Gorilla Sales & Marketing approach is his calling card.  He will find you, and you will buy it! 

Joseph is a sports and fitness enthusiast.  Between sales pitches, you can find him at the gym working up a sweat.

Natalia Rolo Couto, Director, Operations

A hospitality professional at-the-core, Natalia's leadership of both Hotel & Student Residence operations is highest-class-caliber.  A graduate of Hotel Management, with over 10 years of practical experience, Natalia is another partner who brings the-best-of Full Service Hotel, and, Premium Student Residence skill-sets to the party.  While her direction over administrative process might make her appear overly-academic, her voice is clearly heard across the facility when it comes to Leadership of Residence Life Management.

Drafting Policy, Procedure and Training process is Natalia's art.  Implementation, moderation, and oversight is her science.  Her specialty basket also includes Direction over Transactional Process, Sales & Marketing, Financial & Budget Analysis, and, Revenue & Inventory Management. 

Natalia's robust background also marks her as a serious asset on our Advisory Services platform.  Feasibility & Market Study, Financial Analysis, and, Asset Repositioning are areas of expertise and excel for Natalia.

Annabella is our Human Resources and Procedural secret weapon. With fifteen years of private-corporate, and, public-agency leadership experience, Annabella is our go to HR & Policy professional. Her seasoned direction over governmental process handling keeps our development roads clear of bottlenecks. As a certified talent acquisition expert, we waste little time weeding out redundant resources. Yielding maximum output from labour capital is achieved with ease given Annabella's training and development expertise. From union relations, to, executive recruitment and all administrative guidance in-between, Annabella brings serious past performance success to our advisory, development and management platforms.

Added to the capacity list is a savvy background in build and interior design on both personal and professional levels. We don't dare get the colour wrong on the project, nor wear shoes that don't match the attire!
